The Year of the Goat

Location: magot and EC’s place in Issaquah.
Time: Social Hour commences at 6pm (microbrews, wine, snacks)
Hare off: 8pm or thereabouts
Cost: $12; You can bring a dish, bottle of wine, etc to share if you’d like but not required. Festive spirit is mandatory!

Evening Agenda: Venue opens at 6pm, earlier arrivals will be handed a beverage and given a chore. From 6-8pm, beer and wine, snacks, music, stimulating conversation, indoor/outdoor fires (depending on weather), etc.

A short hash run beginning with chalk-talk around 8pm (bring a light as it is dark by 8pm) followed by a circle and the traditional Howl at the Moon.

More beer, mingling, debauchery, etc, while we wait for the year to end and a Champaign Toast to 2010!

Nobody will be allowed to drive home unless they pass a sobriety test. Test not yet determined but will involve Cosmo. Please bring a sleeping bag, a designated driver, or gawd-forbid, control your libational indulgences.

From I90, take the Front St. exit (exit 17) and drive south through Issaquah. Front St. becomes Issaquah-Hobart Rd. Drive a few miles and you’ll come to a traffic light for May Valley Rd. Continue about ½ mile past this light and turn left onto Tiger Mt. Road (if you reach another traffic light you went too far).

Drive a bit over 6 miles on Tiger Mt. Rd. and turn right onto SE 170th (just as you drive under huge power lines.

Drive down 170th about ¼ mile and turn right at the fork. Drive down the hill, around the curve to the right, and it’s the first house on the left.

From SR18, take the Hobart-Issaquah exit and turn left at the light. Drive under SR18 and take the first right onto Tiger Mt. Rd (there is a xmas tree farm on the left). Drive .9 mile and turn left onto SE 170th (just as you reach the huge power lines). Drive down 170th about ¼ mile and turn right at the fork. Drive down the hill, around the curve to the right, and it’s the first house on the left.
