Cedar River Alcohol Party (CRAP)

Date and Time: August 15th, 2009 at 2pm

Where: Beautiful Landsburg, USA

Dire Erections:
From Seattle: Get on I-90 headed east. Take exit 17/Front Street. Turn right at end of exit ramp and get in left lane to stay on Front St. Drive for about 13 miles (Front Street becomes Issaquah Hobart Rd. becomes 276th Ave becomes Landsburg Rd SE) and turn right into Landsburg trailhead parking lot (not that it’s marked). If you go over the Cedar River and see SE 253rd on your right, you’ve gone too far.

From Tacoma: Head north on I-5 and get onto Hwy 18 headed east (exit 142A). Drive about 20 miles and take the Hobart Issaquah exit. Turn right at end of exit ramp. Drive about 4 miles (276th Ave becomes Landsburg Rd SE) and turn right into Landsburg trailhead parking lot (not that it’s marked). If you go over the Cedar River and see SE 253rd on your right, you’ve gone too far.

There are other ways to get there if you want to mapquest it or get out your Thomas Guide.

If you get lost, phone English Channel at 206-902-6531 or magot at 253-737-7296.
Cost: $25 US gets you keg beer, hash run (shiggy is free), a pair of snazzy shorts, more keg beer, post run BBQ (hamburgers, veggie burgers, cheesy poofs, pudding), more keg beer, evening fire pit for dancing, shadow puppetry, sacrificial rites, etc., and even more keg beer.
Pissup location: Misty Mountain Goat Farm (10 minute drive from run start), aka magot and English Channel’s place.
Some other handy stuff to know: Limited floor space available. Lots of tent space available. We will raffle off barn space with the goats. No need to drink too much and try to drive home.
Expect 2 beer stops within the very extremely scenic Cedar River Valley and surrounding foothills but prepare for 3 beer stops because we are hashers and will still be figuring stuff out long after you register.
Register by July 25, 2009 to guarantee getting the right size shorts!
