The Groper Memorial Solstice Run (aka the wall)
 

In some parts of the world the sun does not set on this day. Lets make sure the sun does not set on Gropers memory. Bring your favorite Groper joke and Groper stories. Anybody that can recite the “lucky duck” joke will get a special prize.

Run Start: Gravel parking lot on west side of west valley road, just north of car repair shop at the intersection of 15th and west valley road.

Driving Directions from Hy 18 heading south: South on Hy 18 past Auburn. At the Puyallup/Hy 167 south/west valley hy exit to right at exit. Follow signs for west valley Hy. At West Valley Hy, take a left (south) at the light. Go about ¼ mile and just before light for 15th (enterance back on to Hy 167 and also road that takes you to supermall) look for gravel parking lot on right.

From I-5 take the Hwy. 18 exit. go east to the bottom of the hill and take the West Valley Hwy / Super mall exit, turn right and follow West Valley south about .5 miles. Park on right just before you get to the light at 15th st. SW.

From Valley Freeway #167 take the 15th st. SW (supermall) exit, go west to the West Valley Hwy. Turn right then an immediate left into the gravel parking lot just north of 15th st. SW.

Piss Up:(Thumper's Back Yard Fire Pit) Go north on West Valley Hwy about 1 mile to the light at West Main, turn left past the funeral home and go up the hill. When you hit the first entrance to the cemetary go 1 mile the house will be on the right.32460 46th Pl. S. The house sits back off of the road and there is a split rail fence in front.
