As you can see, I am practicing the high Jump for the olympics! Testing is going great in Fairbanks in -25 degrees Farenheit with our new Navy tactical suits. Can't wait til we get started and live on larabars and muktut for the first few days across the strait...
OK some smart cookies amongst you might say: how come the water does not completely freeze in -25F. Well, this is Fairbanks, a pretty big city and up the river, there is a water treatment plan and they dump bunch of cooling solution down the river where we practice ! This is also maybe why we now glow in the dark, which helps us save batteries in the tent when we are on trail.
A few more days in Fairbanks and back to Wales for the swim.
